I nearly missed this venue! There are so many things happening in Bangkok... My friend, Rebecca, had told me to go and see the orchid show being held at Siam Paragon. So, yesterday I went there with my camera, of course.
Siam Paragon often holds spectacular presentations in its main hall entrance. This one was no exception. Every designed scene was made with hundreds of orchids naturally enough on the Siamese spirit. They did this in the wake of the King's birthday that will be celebrated on 5 December.
Florists from all over the Kingdom are presenting their specimens, some set in beautiful arrangements. So, there are literally hundreds of different kinds of orchids. Some are tiny ones, others are real giant flowers. But they all have stunning colors, some being really unusual.
